The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved a new drug to treat patients with an advanced form of deadly lung cancer.
Use of radial access for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) increased 2.8-fold in the United States between 2013 and 2022, according to a study presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, held from May 2 to 4 in Long Beach, California.
Semaglutide reduces the need for loop diuretics and has positive effects on symptoms, physical limitations, and body weight in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), regardless of diuretic use, according to a study presented at the European Society of Cardiology Heart Failure 2024, held from May 11 to 14 in Lisbon, Portugal.
